Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: July 15, 2026 · Version: 2026-07-15
Life Memoirs is operated by individual developer 戚蕴杰. Privacy and support requests: 843459929@qq.com. The service is for adults aged 18 or older.
1. Controller and contact
The data controller is individual developer 戚蕴杰. Public contact address: 待填写公开联系地址. Contact 843459929@qq.com for privacy requests. Do not email memoir text, photos, identity documents, Apple credentials, or access tokens.
2. Scope and age
This policy covers the iOS app, its legal site and related backend services. The service is for users aged 18 or older. You must have a lawful basis to submit another person's story or photo.
3. Data kept on device
Books, chapters, answers, follow-ups, drafts, original and restored photos, exports and preferences are primarily local. The in-app deletion flow removes managed database records and their referenced original photos, restored photos, PDF and DOCX files. Copies saved to Files, Photos, cloud drives, backups or other people remain under your control.
4. Service data
We process a pseudonymous HMAC of the Apple subject, internal user and hashed session identifiers, Apple and RevenueCat purchase facts, Free/Plus/Pro and 20-book entitlements, per-feature usage, consent versions, and limited security and operational events. We do not receive your Apple ID password.
5. Text AI
After separate express consent, selected text and context are temporarily routed through Cloudflare Workers to Alibaba Cloud Model Studio/Bailian in US Virginia for dedicated input/output safety review and text generation. Cloudflare does not persist memoir text, questions or answers in D1, R2, KV or Cache.
6. Photo restoration
After separate photo consent, input and output images are reviewed by Alibaba Bailian image safety in US Virginia; restoration uses WaveSpeedAI Bria Fibo Restore. Cloudflare does not persist image bytes or temporary result URLs. Vendor retention follows verified contracts and policies and is not represented as absolute zero retention.
7. Purposes and legal bases
Processing supports authentication, purchase verification, entitlements, user-requested AI and restoration, security, fraud prevention, support and legal obligations. Depending on the jurisdiction, bases include contract, express consent, legitimate interests and legal duties.
8. Consent and choices
Text AI and photo restoration consents are separate and may be refused or withdrawn independently. Refusal does not prevent local viewing and editing; export remains governed by the current plan.
9. Processors
Relevant providers are Apple, RevenueCat, Cloudflare, Alibaba Cloud Model Studio/Bailian in US Virginia, and WaveSpeedAI/Bria. Data is not sold, used for third-party advertising, or used for cross-app tracking.
10. Regions and transfers
Initial availability covers Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Online processing may involve international transfers, including US Virginia. Do not enable the relevant cloud feature if you do not want that transfer.
11. Retention and deletion
Diagnostic attempts are generally cleaned within 30 days. Purchase, subscription, usage, reconciliation and dispute details are retained for up to 24 months unless law or a live dispute requires longer. A non-reversible Apple-account HMAC tombstone, a minimum lifetime-Free grant fact, and the minimum link required to restore an active subscription, the 20-book non-consumable purchase, and the same reconciliation code may remain for anti-abuse, restoration, refund and entitlement integrity. Account deletion removes content and consumable credits; authorizing again with the same Apple Account can restore those restorable purchases, but not deleted content, consumable credits, or Free grants.
12. Security
Controls include HTTPS, Keychain storage, pseudonymous identifiers, hashed sessions, access restrictions, rate limits, encrypted provider credentials, minimal logs, budget controls and incident monitoring. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
13. Your rights
Applicable rights may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, consent withdrawal and appeal. Contact us when the in-app controls do not satisfy a request; identity verification may be required.
14. Regional rights
Rights and complaint routes may arise under Australian, New Zealand, United States state, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan privacy and consumer laws. These summaries do not limit mandatory rights or direct complaints to a competent regulator.
15. Changes and complaints
Material changes will be identified by a new version and, where required, a prominent in-app notice or renewed consent. Contact the developer or your competent regulator with a complaint.
