Terms of Service

Life Memoirs is operated by individual developer 戚蕴杰. Privacy and support requests: 843459929@qq.com. The service is for adults aged 18 or older.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
By downloading, signing in, purchasing or using the service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 and legally able to contract.
2. Account and security
Sign in with Apple is required. Protect your Apple account, device and verification codes. Deleting an account or uninstalling the app does not cancel an App Store subscription.
3. Licence
Use is subject to Apple's Standard EULA and Usage Rules. The app is licensed, not sold, and may be used only on devices you own or control as permitted by Apple and mandatory law.
4. User content
You retain lawful rights in your stories and photos and grant only the limited licence needed to process a request. You are responsible for permissions, privacy, copyright and independent backups.
5. AI and restored output
AI and restoration output can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, fabricated or visually altered. All AI-assisted sections and exports are labelled. Verify people, dates, facts, rights and image details before use; output is not professional advice or historical proof.
6. Acceptable use
Do not submit unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, harassing or harmful material, process private content without authority, or bypass authentication, entitlements, safety review, rate limits, budgets or regional restrictions.
7. Plans and allowances
Free is a lifetime account allowance: 5 first generations, 3 regenerations and 1 restoration, one book, no polishing, follow-up, AI-text editing or export. Plus per period: 25 first generations, 50 regenerations, 5 polishing and 5 restorations, one book, 2 layouts and Word/PDF export. Pro per period: 50 first generations, 120 regenerations, 15 polishing, 10 AI follow-ups and 10 restorations, two books, 5 layouts and Word/PDF export. Period allowances do not roll over.
8. Subscriptions and purchases
Plus and Pro are monthly auto-renewing App Store subscriptions in one subscription group. There is no free trial. An eligible user may receive one first-month introductory price for the group; the purchase screen shows the localized offer, renewal price and period. Restore Purchases is available. Apple controls billing, cancellation, taxes and refunds.
9. Book capacity
The separate non-consumable purchase permanently raises this Apple-sign-in account to 20 books, adds no AI uses, does not support Family Sharing and supports Restore Purchases. If refunded or revoked, capacity returns to the current plan and excess books become read-only without deletion.
10. Availability and changes
Network, provider, legal, safety or maintenance events may temporarily disable cloud functions. Material plan or term changes will be disclosed as required; accrued mandatory consumer rights remain intact.
11. Intellectual property
The app, brand and non-user materials remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their own licences.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted availability, factual accuracy or suitability. Non-waivable statutory warranties and consumer guarantees remain unaffected.
13. Limitation of liability
Where law permits a cap, aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount paid for the service in the 12 months before the event or USD 50 (or local currency equivalent). This does not limit liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Indemnity
Where permitted, you are responsible for reasonable losses caused by unlawful content, rights violations or deliberate misuse. This does not impose liability where prohibited by consumer law.
15. Termination and general terms
You may stop using the service. We may restrict cloud access for serious misuse, fraud, safety or legal reasons. Provisions intended to survive do so; invalid provisions are limited rather than expanding waivers.
16. Governing law and disputes
Mandatory local consumer and privacy protections are preserved. Contact support first where practical; users may still use competent courts, regulators or mandatory dispute mechanisms.
17. Apple terms
Apple is not a party to these supplemental terms, has no maintenance obligation, and is a third-party beneficiary of the app licence terms. Apple may enforce those terms. Apple remains responsible only for obligations assigned to it by law or its platform rules.
